OUR STORY, Eco waste management
We are proud to have started out with just a couple of camp chairs, a fold-out table and an idea of 100% Landfill Diversion driven by technology.
Having worked for some of the largest players in the waste management industry, both here in Australia and abroad, we could see all the ways we were failing.
Traditional waste management fails the planet, it fails corporations and it fails communities.
handel: was born from a feeling of helplessness to act and effect change within existing corporate structures.
We are a technology company, in fact, we are the world’s first technology company to tackle the waste industry from the bottom up, ensuring genuine environmental and socially beneficial outcomes!
Our Vision is to achieve 100% Landfill Diversion by 2030 and to change the minds of those who still see ‘waste’ as a dirty word. It’s simply not, our waste is an incredible commodity and that mindset is the key to environmentally friendly, and sustainable waste management solutions.
We come from a place of quiet humility, simply eager to make a difference. It’s that sense of humility and desire to achieve local outcomes which is carried through our everyday decision making and into every success.
